WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You create outgoing invoices for our branches in Germany and the UK, record incoming payments in our billing portal, and monitor outstanding receivables, including dunning processes and customer communication to resolve open items
You record and review incoming invoices in our spend management tool, prepare payments to suppliers, and check employee travel expense reports
You assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements, reconcile accounts, and contribute to accurate financial reporting
You handle accounting inquiries, provide precise answers, and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
You actively work on optimizing and automating accounting processes, thereby enhancing efficiency within the finance department
You ensure compliance with relevant tax and legal requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes

THE QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD
Currently pursuing a degree with a focus on business, finance, accounting, or a related field
Ideally, initial practical experience in accounting or finance
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a strong affinity for numbers and data
Quick learner with high accuracy and reliability in task execution
Structured and self-reliant working style paired with excellent teamwork skills
Fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken
