The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP solutions that are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with the specific needs of public sector management. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP programming, SRM module customization, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and compliance with government regulations.Key Responsibilities• SAP ABAP Development:• Design, build, and maintain high-quality SAP ABAP applications.• Develop and modify SAP modules in SRM as well as connected modules and systems.• Perform complex ABAP programming, testing, and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules.• SRM Customization and Support:• Customize the SAP SRM solution to meet the needs of the public sector environment.• Ensure seamless integration of SRM with other SAP modules like MM (Material Management) and FI (Financial Accounting).• Provide ongoing support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms within SAP SRM.• Compliance and Best Practices:• Ensure all SAP solutions comply with governmental regulations and standards.• Stay updated with the latest public sector trends and technologies to provide strategic advice on SAP solutions.• Document and maintain all code changes and customizations in accordance with standard compliance procedures.The teamDeloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact.
