UI Motion Graphics Designer (1-2 Month Contract)

​​Demiurge is searching for a UI Motion Graphics Designer to join our talented UiX team. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in motion graphics design - concepts, animations, timing, etc - and is familiar with all manner of games and game types on mobile and console platforms. You’re comfortable generating your own tasks and scoping them accordingly. You enjoy getting feedback and learning from different perspectives in order to hone your designs and work. 

• Create amazing, intuitive interfaces for our games!
• Early project planning and task orientation
• Create animatics, concepts, and creative interaction design
• Work closely with design and engineering to establish UI development pipelines and feature requirements
• Critique your own and others' work constructively, and raise our internal experience bar

• 4+ years of experience working on Game Motion Graphics
• Demonstrable ownership of a shipped feature from concept to implementation to polish
• Excellent personal, written, and oral communication skills
• Broad knowledge of the many requirements and steps involved in delivering high-quality interface art
• Skilled with industry tools: Illustrator, XD, Figma, Photoshop/After EffectsStrong sense of graphic design, font, color
• Portfolio or demo reel that demonstrates breadth of skill, styles, genres
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

• Traditional illustration/fine arts training
• Experience in mobile, console, and pc interface development
• Experience with client relations
• Passion for games of all sorts
• Outside interests!
