Position Profile: Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Manager of Operations

Position Summary: To provide polite, accurate and professional customer service related to eligibility, dental benefits, and claim payment; performs claim and benefit research, reconciliation, adjudication, data entry, adjustments, and related reporting. Respond to written inquiries and appeals in a timely and professional manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Values-based, high performance minded Team Member.

· Excellent customer service skills that are consistent, efficient, and accurate;

· Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft applications,

sufficient to independently perform claim related functions and produce

customer communications;

· Excellent time management skills;

· Ability to manage multiple tasks with multiple deadlines required;

· Willing and able to think outside the box to assist customers;

· Skilled communicator, with effective verbal, written, and listening skills;

· Bilingual a plus;

· Ability to lift 30 pounds;

· Able to work in the office during regular business working hours.

· Legally authorized to work in the United States.

· Successfully pass a 7-year background check and drug test.

EXPERIENCE: One (1) year experience in public relations or customer service, preferably in the group benefits/insurance field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

• Dental office: 2 years (Preferred)
• Call Center: 1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)
• Dental/Health Claims: 2 years (Required)
