We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analytics and will help own data analysis, reporting, and visualizations that support department leaders across the entire company.

Reports to: Business Intelligence Manager

 

On a daily basis, works cross-functionally with: Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Data Science teams

 

Location: Design Pickle is a fully remote company with HQ in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Specific to your role, we’re looking for individuals who have...

• 4+ years of experience in a data analytics/business intelligence role
• Expert knowledge of SQL and experience using Tableau to design and build reporting
• Experience with analyzing and reporting on recurring revenue, subscription-based business models
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex billing information clearly and simply
• Extreme attention to detail, finding and fixing the smallest errors that others might miss, ensuring precision in every aspect of your work
• Strong analytical and technical skills with expertise in manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends, and using a multitude of disparate data sources
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze, and accurately interpret market and customer data

• Experience working at a high-growth, technology company
• BA or BS in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Finance)

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Analyze customer data and build reporting to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, and create a shared understanding of how customers are interacting with the company’s platform and content
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and build executive-facing dashboards to track progress of the business and identify areas of opportunity and concern
• Understand and refine business processes around how the business intelligence team interfaces with departments across the company
• Partner closely with the functional leadership team members to identify and unlock opportunities within their respective departments; work with internal stakeholders to outline and define data definitions and apply appropriate usage
• Analyze and integrate data from multiple large-scale data warehouses
• Translate complex reporting needs into technical specifications, including calculations, custom groups, parameters, filtering criteria, and/or aggregations

The compensation range for this position $100,000 to $110,000 annually. The actual salary offer to a candidate will be made with mindful consideration of many factors. These factors include but are not limited to skills, qualifications, education/knowledge, experience, and alignment with market data for a given location within the US. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions. This salary data is for our US-based positions only.
