Design Verification Engineer

Responsible for functional verification of audio CODECs and other mixed signal products. Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to: verification planning, testbench development, failure analysis and resolution, coverage analysis and population, digital/mixed-signal modeling, directed/constraint-random test generation, formal verification analysis with execution, proficient knowledge of scripting languages and flow development. Candidates must work closely with digital/analog designers, applications engineers and manufacturing test to support both pre-silicon verification and post silicon validation efforts.

REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus three years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the foregoing fields plus five years of relevant experience or a PhD in one of the foregoing fields without experience. In all cases, the position also requires knowledge of VLSI and Signal processing.

This position is located in Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
