Associate Software Engineer- Python
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Software Engineer – Python to join our development team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who have a passion for Python programming and software development. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will work alongside experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and solutions.
Core Responsibilities
Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining Python-based applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Work with APIs, databases, and backend services to build scalable applications.
Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, data engineers, and product managers.
Optimize code for efficiency, scalability, and security.
Stay updated with the latest Python frameworks, libraries, and best practices.
Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python and knowledge of its frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles.
Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web development concepts.
Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Internship or project experience using Python for software development.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (PyTest, UnitTest) and debugging techniques.
