Apply via Dice today!Job Title: Technical Affairs CoordinatorLocation: DC/ RemoteDuration: Full TimeExperience with NFPA, ICE, SAE, ISO 14001:2015/Environmental management system etc preferredJob Summary:• The Technical Affairs Coordinator / Manager will interface support Client s regulations, safety, codes, and standards activities as they relate to hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.• The selected applicant will support the association s technical affairs working groups and will be responsible for tracking and responding to key regulatory issues on behalf of the industry.• Compensation and title (Coordinator / Manager) will be based on experience and skills.Duties/Responsibilities:• Facilitate Client's technical affairs working groups, including hosting meetings, developing agendas, taking minutes, and responding to action items identified.• Represent the Client's positions in domestic and international technical codes and standards organization meetings.• Develop articles for bi-monthly Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Safety Report.• Research and develop technical memos, reports, and other publications.• Maintain online hydrogen and fuel cell codes and standards tracking tools.• Support Client's regulatory efforts include attending meetings, discussions, and providing regulatory comment support.• Attend other virtual and in-person meetings as requested.• Research and respond to informational requests on codes, standards and regulations pertaining to hydrogen and fuel cell systems.Required Skills/Abilities:• A willingness to learn and engage in the development of hydrogen codes, standards, and regulations.• Candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.• Excellent collaboration skills and high initiative.Education/Experience:• Technical Affairs Coordinator• Bachelor s degree in science, engineering, or similar technical field required• 1 to 3 years of experience interpreting, using, or developing codes, standards, or regulations is desired.• Technical Affairs Manager• Advanced degree in science, engineering, or similar technical field required.• 3 to 6 years of experience interpreting, using, or developing codes, standards, or regulations is desired.• Experience with hydrogen or fuel cell technologies preferred.• Experience with trade associations and non-profits preferred.Benefits:• Health insurance• Dental insurance• Vision insurance• Life insurance• Paid time off• Paid parental leave• Retirement planLocation:• The position is remote.• Occasional travel to the Washington, DC metro area is required for certain meetings or events.• Periodic domestic and international travel will be required for this position.Coordinator/Support (Hydrogen Energy/Fuel cell, NFPA, ICE, SAE) REMOTE
