BCForward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 9 MonthsJob Type: [>=40 weeks] [Contract] [Remote]Pay Range: $70 - $80/hr. on W2.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Job Title: Project Manager VDuration: 9 monthsLocation: RemoteJob Responsibilities:• Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.• Analyse technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.• Direct, review and approve product designs and changes.• Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.Skills:• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.• Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.• Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.Must-Have Skills:• Technical background like infrastructure or data centre (doesn't need to be an engineer) but have worked in space and pick up on the terminology.• Need to be able to do strong data analytics and give proposed solutions• Build relationships with anyone easily, big on soft skillsNice-to-have Skills:• PMI or PMP certification preferred• Being able to put slides together, who can tell a story with data and dashboards.Education/Experience:• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.• PMI or PMP certification preferred.BCForward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.About BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCForward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
