Reporting to the Vice President of Distribution Engagement , this position is responsible for supporting distribution engagement efforts, working with leadership, field/branch offices, business units, and fellow MSI teams, in the development and execution of distribution plans and strategies for CNA. With an emphasis on profitable growth, lead generation, and cross-functional collaboration, this position will leverage communication vehicles and tactics to strengthen relationships with our brokers, and enable CNA's field offices to meet their production goals.
This position will focus on the development and execution of industry projects which may include: coordination of sponsorship assets & materials; writing, editing and proofreading of distribution communications and project management of broker campaigns. This position will also aim to develop project management skills while building important relationships within the business.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:

Assists with the development, implementation and measurement of international distribution strategies. Establishes project schedules, manages budgets, ensures that deadlines are met, and assists with “closing the loop” on strategic efforts

Support broker engagement projects that pertain to operational requirements and overall enterprise objectives including but not limited to branch updates, producer agreements, compensation, regulatory notices, etc.

Assist with the development, implementation and measurement of the engagement with industry-leading conferences/organizations and additional growth-focused partnerships

Serve as project manager for branch-related and Business-unit events in support of overall growth initiatives

Oversee the management of content for broker portals and executive broker manager monthly aggregation

Utilize SFDC as a tool for supporting enterprise growth strategies

Coordinate broker-related sponsorships including payment and relative assets

Identifying process improvements to streamline certain tasks.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Broad knowledge of insurance and/or financial services industry.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners.

Detail oriented with good analytical skills, and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage several projects and ensure deadlines are met.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite as well as other business-related software such as Salesforce.

Must be able to travel occasionally including evenings and weekends.

Ability to work independently.
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree (BBA, BA, or BS) in Business, Communications, Risk Management or related field, or equivalent experience is required

Typically two years of relevant work experience.

Insurance industry experience preferred
