As the Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will support application and perform contract processing for large complex transactions as part of the Direct Solutions Sales Support workflow. This role should be considered a “Deal Closer” and have extremely close contact with all aspects of the transaction throughout the onboarding cycle. This role is to be considered a true “right-hand” to the Direct Solutions Commercial team.Find out more here about how you can unleash your full potential at DLL!Day to Day• Manage the end-to-end process between DLL (and all relevant stakeholders), the end-user customer, and dealers/equipment vendors for relationship and transactional details• Support application and contract processes, including the ability to develop and support customized solutions with a vendor, customer, and sales to address tailor-made solutions, some of which will be non-traditional in nature.• Ability to develop strong relationships with multiple layers within Fortune 500 customers (target audience), including a strong understanding of customer’s internal processes and operations and the general nature of vendor supplier equipment.• Create, generate, and participate in the negotiation of Master Lease Agreements, Schedules, and transactional documentation, both standard and non-standard in nature. Specific focus on ensuring transactions will be operationally feasible.• Manage and convert outstanding approvals, including taking ownership of the deals to ensure internal hurdles are overcome and all relevant stakeholders are informed.• Work directly with internal and outside counsel, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders on all assigned transactions. Ability to balance commercial and risk considerations while maintaining adherence to DLL policy/procedures.• Collaborate with shared services to ensure timely booking and funding activities occur.• Analyze and recommend opportunities for improvement, particularly across the Application to Booking Process. Strong Continuous Process Improvement mindset.• Provide project support and expertise, as required, for systematic needs and upgrades.• Meet or exceed customer service expectations. Be accountable for work product.• Serve as liaison between relevant stakeholders in the Commercial and Risk domains.
