We are building upon our leading US sports brand to grow our Sportsbook Operations group! Join our team as a Sportsbook Operations Specialist, and you will play a central role in running the day-to-day operations of a rapidly scaling part of our business.  

What you’ll do as a Sportsbook Merchandising Specialist

  • Obsess over best in class customer journeys and experiences that drive business performance metrics

  • Analyze customer feedback and behavior data to inform strategic decisions that enhance both user satisfaction and business outcomes.

  • Use critical thinking to solve problems that do not have clear or documented resolution paths

  • Maintain a deep understanding of internal and external capabilities and how they can be leveraged to optimize merchandising strategies

  • Leverage a deep understanding of the sports betting industry to evaluate competitive strengths and weaknesses, with specific focus on bet placement, market offerings, and product features

  • Work closely with Trading, Product, and Operations teams to optimize and evolve the sportsbook betting experience.

  • Act with autonomy and authority in making medium impact decisions on issues without escalation

  • Mentor and guide team members by sharing expertise and insights, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics

  • 2+ years experience working in the online sports betting industry or business performance role

  • Well organized and strong attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, often under challenging time constraints. 

  • Proven ability to understand the customer and be an advocate.

  • You’re a data-driven and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Sportsbook industry. 

  • Analytical skills and an ability to generate insights from campaign results and use these to inform future plans.

  • Experience with A/B testing and knowledge/willingness to learn SQL, HTML, and other analytics tools

  • Knowledgeable sports fan with strong written and oral communication skills 

  • Proven experience as a self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment

We’re a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. As a regulated gaming company, you may be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 79,200.00 USD - 99,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
