Job Summary: The Revenue Auditor is responsible for verifying revenue for the organization and ensuring that cash operations are being administered effectively.

As a Revenue Auditor at our company, located in beautiful Durango, Colorado, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. This seasonally positioned, hourly role comes with a competitive hourly wage between $18.00 and $20.00, depending on your experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing and cleaning cash bags for various departments, from stores to train services, and meticulously reconciling daily cash bags and credit card deposits. You’ll establish an organized filing system for daily reports, facilitating swift audits and accurate journal entries in our accounting software. Creating revenue reports, including daily ridership and departmental figures, is a critical aspect of your job, as is preparing bank deposits and verifying receipts. You will closely monitor special event functions to ensure proper cash flow while collaborating with department managers to resolve reconciliation issues promptly. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and proficiency in tools like Excel and accounting software.
