WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a dynamic, early-career level Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our rapidly growing Sales team. In this role, the BDR plays a critical role within the sales are marketing teams. First and foremost, this role requires a hunter mentality. The BDR will communicate the Korbyt value proposition by actively prospecting, responding to and carefully managing responses to inbound and outbound leads, overcoming client objections, and creating early-stage opportunities.
This person thrives in an ever-evolving organization and possesses a high emotional IQ. You take pride in your craft by being able to listen actively, disarm, and persuade skillfully. A dynamic self-starter and problem solver with attention to detail. You are capable of juggling multiple tasks with ease, know how to drive execution without being pushy, and can envision a path to completion through a series of obstacles.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Articulate Korbyt's value proposition, solution offerings, and use-case scenarios through phone and/or email communication with C-Level, Director, and Technical level prospects

Be skilled traversing both laterally and horizontally within a prospect's organization to identify key decision-makers and influencers

Execute multi-touch prospecting campaigns leveraging telephone, email and social media to generate sales-ready leads for the sales team

Establish, research, and engage net new accounts daily

Actively manage a portfolio of prospects and contacts in Salesforce and set up nurturing activities to generate active engagement with prospects

Provide timely and accurate information to management such as forecasting, territory plans, business objectives, etc.

Able to multi-task between inbound contacts when requires, including phone, email, chat and other systems

Effective data management and search through internal and external sources such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, search engines and press

Follow a clear and defined Qualification Process

Actively participate in and add to team learning opportunities and your personal development
Requirements:

WHAT YOU HAVE
-
2+ years of business development and or sales development experience
-
Demonstrable success with creating and growing net new sales pipeline
-
Strong prospecting skills and the confidence to make cold calls, ask for referrals, & seek new leads
-
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong problem-solving skills

High energy and positive attitude

Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets

Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude

CRM or Salesforce.com experience a plus

Articulate and excellent follow up skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
