We are looking for an Editor with travel experience for one of our largest clients. Focusing on travel and lifestyle topics, the Editor supports the creative team with all assets—print and digital—as an omnichannel writer, editor, and production manager. This role reports to the Creative Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Write and edit content across all available channels (digital, social, and print)
• Craft unique, emotionally-driven, audience-centric stories
• Understand and implement SEO, social, and digital best practices across all content
• Line edit (first pass) copy and assets before forwarding to top editor
• Participate in brainstorms and ideation sessions
• Advocate for and participate in the creative process
• Collaborate and share ideas and best practices with creative peers across the organization
• Engage on a regular basis with workflow tool
• Contribute to editorial planning and content idea development
• Understand brand guidelines for assigned work

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism or a related field

Experience:

3-5 years of experience as a writer/editor in a fast-paced environment (working at a content/media agency and working in a digital environment are highly preferred)

Skills:

• Must be both print and digitally savvy with a keen knowledge of SEO and social best practices
• Must be able to collaborate and write across channels: print, digital, and social (including video)
• Exceptional writing/edit skills and a high attention to detail
• Ability to curate, create and publish content from start to finish
• Strong storytelling skills
• Ability to conduct interviews and report the story arc
• Organized self-starter and independent worker
• Proficient with CMS systems (AEM preferred)

The salary for this position will range from $47,000.00 - $60,000.00, depending on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.
