Electrical Design Engineer (Medium Voltage - Infrastructure)

P2S has an excellent opportunity for a talented electrical design engineer to support medium-voltage infrastructure projects in our Irvine, CA office. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience with:

• Medium voltage (2.4kV – 35kV) infrastructure design for commercial and industrial facilities that is suitable for public bid, including specification of associated switchgear, transformers, and other related medium voltage equipment
• Specification and coordination of protective relaying and SCADA systems for medium voltage electrical systems

Requirements

• Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power and Energy Systems
• EIT is preferred
• Minimum 1 years' experience
• Familiar with electrical infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision
• Experience using AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit
• Prior experience working on commercial/industrial infrastructure projects preferred
• Must be able to access and perform site visits

• Revit a plus
• AutoCAD a plus

Duties:

Pre-Design Engineering

• Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment report
• Prepare electrical schematic designs
