Electrician

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced electrician. Applies standard practices and procedures for the electrical assembly of automated assembly and welding systems used in the automotive industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Installs and wire subsystems
• Updates e-cabinets
• Reads blueprints to interpret and implement electrical diagrams to wire mechanical assemblies.
• Maintains application skills for electrical components, circuits, J.I.C. electrical specifications, NEMA standards.
• Provides assistance with standard tools of trade shop tooling (welder, etc.), and standard electrical components.
• Assists setting tool sequencing, cycle time and tool interfacing.
• Follows up on Hit Lists, Material, & Percentage Complete
• Supports Debug
• Reviews layouts and collects Cable Length.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns.
• Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Certificate from college or technical school or three years of experience including installation and wiritng of subsystems and update of e-cabinets and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Automotive assembly experience

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gray Court, SC 29645: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Electrical wiring: 3 years (Preferred)
• subsystem installation: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Electrical License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
