Email Marketing Strategist

Pay Model: $40,000/yr + performance bonus (Average first year earnings $50,000)

Tasks:

• Develop and execute an overall email marketing strategy based on the goals of each client to gain desired business results
• Analyze the client’s needs and provide Email Marketing recommendations; upsell to a larger package when appropriate to support their business growth
• Manage a book of Email Marketing clients and maintain a relationship with these clients; perform audits of client’s current email marketing efforts and contact lists
• Identify and report on key performance indicators and opportunities for improvement on a regular basis; monitor and evaluate email marketing results in order to make strategic improvements to email marketing campaigns
• Implement deliverables on behalf of clients within multiple email platforms
• Use advanced knowledge of email marketing to provide analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of email design and best practices
• Create email marketing automation/drip campaigns within multiple email platforms
• Stay current with email marketing industry trends and best practices
• Exercise discretion and independent judgement when developing and implementing email marketing strategies to ensure strategies are positively impacting the client’s ROI

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years’ experience with agency email marketing preferred
• 1+ years’ experience in client management
• Ability to multi-task and handle client communication in a timely manner
• Driven, competitive, and confident with excellent customer service skills
• Experience with email marketing campaign analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics and internal reporting tools
• Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics with the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual who is flexible and able to switch between tasks easily
• Creative and strategic thinker and problem solver
