Your Role: 

As a Customer Service Representative at VCSG, you are the first point of contact for our clients and patients, you will be juggling multiple tasks, keeping up with the fast-paced energy of emergency work, and going with the flow like a pro. While you’ll pick up new skills along the way, being a whiz with computers and multi-line phones is a must. This job is all about caring for our clients just as much as their furry friends, so empathy and understanding are key—especially since many of our clients are here during stressful and challenging moments. Bonus points if you’ve got experience in a veterinary setting! 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and patients upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. 
  • Answer multi-line phone system and respond to client inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. 
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar. 
  • Handle billing, payment processing, and financial transactions accurately. 
  • Relay messages to the appropriate technician or doctor.  
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records in our database. 
  • Assist with client follow-ups and appointment reminders. 
  • Support the veterinary team with administrative tasks as needed. 
  • Ensure the reception area, exam rooms, and restrooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials. 


Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficiency with computers and scheduling software. 
  • A compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in a related field is a plus. 
  • Must be comfortable working around animals.
  • Availability to work flexible hours and holidays.
