Job Description

  • All activities performed by Global Mobility Specialist (for this, see relevant JD).
  • Advice and provide strategic recommendations on Business Projects in collaboration with representatives from other functions such as, but not limited to, Tax, Finance, People.
  • Leading the implementation of new regulations on a country or regional level impacting employee mobility.
  • Supervise and develop training plans & materials for new joiner in the Global Mobility team.
  • Educate colleagues from other functions in terms of Mobility changes impacting them.
  • Investigate complex compliance situations together with internal and external stakeholders (Tax, Legal, People, public authorities, external providers, etc.)
  • Ensure the Policy is understood and upheld at a company level and communicate to senior leadership team any changes which should be performed based on the regular Policy governance and feedback from the business.
  • Together with the Tax department, monitor the compliance set-up of ongoing transfer and escalate and discrepancies.
  • Strive for self-development and seek out on a regular basis industry developments and trends.
  • Present relevant updates to senior leadership team together with proposal of action points.
  • Support other Global Mobility colleagues and business with Policy interpretations and complex cases.
  • Manage external Global Mobility providers and ensure that the invoicing process and deliverables are in line with the contractual agreements.
  • Lead Global Mobility change projects, in collaboration with project team, project board and as per project plan.
  • Attends specific work projects as determined by the line manager and performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be educated to at least University level. Excellent IT skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook. Previous experience of working with HR database.

At least three years of experience in a Global Mobility role and a total five years of experience in relevant Human Resources roles.

Aware of International employment, immigration, taxation and social security legislation and related issues. Training in labour legislation, immigration, computers filing and maintaining filing systems, organising and human resources practices. Must be tactful, diplomatic and possess the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization. Must have managed for at least one year an external provider on an operational level and have implemented successfully one relevant projected within the agreed framework.
