English/Math Tutor

Huntington Learning Center has been the nation’s recognized leader in the educational services industry since 1977. Huntington Learning center of Cupertino, CA has been serving the community for over 30 years providing premier instruction to kids of all ages.

We are hiring part-time teachers, academic and exam prep tutors to help students achieve their potential.

We are looking for qualified candidates to teach Reading, Writing, Math and Phonics, Math, Science, Study Skills, ACT/SAT/Entrance exams test preparation to kids from K-12 grades.

You must be flexible and reliable. You must have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of children. Willing to work a minimum of 2-3 days (6-12 hours) per week.

As a Huntington Learning Center teacher you get:

● Paid Training -Initial and ongoing training on skills and techniques that even experienced teachers and professionals appreciate.

Students: Work with a variety of students at all grade levels on an individual or one-to-one basis. As you track student’s daily progress, you will see marked improvement in their skills, confidence, and motivation. There are no discipline problems, so you concentrate on the academics.

● No Outside Work -No homework to correct or lesson plans to develop. You walk into the Center and begin teaching (after your training). Our full-time staff conducts all parent conferences, and schedules, so won’t be interacting with parents.

● Year-Round Flexible Hours -This is an ideal part-time job. No preparation is needed. After-school and summer hours that adapt to your schedule.

Required Qualifications:
●4-year College Degree
● Math knowledge and understanding of concepts.
●Minimum 6-12 hours per week, work to include some evenings & weekends. Must be able to do some weeknights.
