Enterprise Sales Manager

We have recently created a new Enterprise Sales Manager position. This individual contributor will partner with transportation and technology stakeholders at target companies to sell our digital freight procurement tool, RFP Guide. The ideal candidate for this position is curious, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and an excellent communicator.

DEPARTMENT:
Sales - Digital Sales
LOCATION: This position can be remote anywhere in the US (or in offices in Chicago); the expectation is this role will generally work during Central business hours as Chicago is HQ.

What you get to do: 6 Key Areas

  • Drive transactional and complex sales cycles for logistics SaaS solutions to enterprise shippers from initial contact to successful onboarding within a fast-paced sales environment
  • Work with Marketing to build and manage a strong pipeline of customers
  • Constantly refine your sales skills with sales management and sales enablement as well as seek and apply constructive feedback to constantly refine your approach
  • Actively share customer feedback and your observations with Loadsmart’s Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance value for your customers
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business, including processes, operations, the competitive landscape, and remaining up-to-date on industry news
  • Participate as an active member of our collaborative sales team and contribute to our culture of sales success

You have experience:

  • 4+ Years of direct sales experience in B2B sales with a consistent track record of exceeding quota in a highly entrepreneurial and teamwork-oriented environment
  • Leveraging sales productivity similar to Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator (this is our current stack)
  • Understanding different modes of freight (FTL, LTL, etc)
  • Selling for large shippers (average customer size $1 Bi in gross revenue companies)

  • Due to position requirements, this position cannot be performed in New York City or the states of Colorado, Washington, or California.
