With the establishment of envelio Inc. in 2024, we’ve laid the foundation for our future growth. Based in Back Bay, Boston, we're bringing the IGP to North American utilities, led by a strong local team.

About the role

As our People Manager at envelio Inc., you will be taking ownership of our People function, driving our efforts to attract, retain, and nurture top talent while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in fostering a strong, positive culture within the team.

As an early team member, this role offers significant autonomy and responsibility, with the opportunity to lead impactful initiatives from concept to implementation across all aspects of the People function.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Back Bay, Boston office, with sporadic travel required to represent the company at industry and recruitment events. Preference for hire to be located in Greater Boston area.

What you'll do

  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent across various functions.

  • Design, manage, and develop our benefit structure to support the well-being of our team and attract talent.

  • Run our people operations incl. payroll, HRIS, and coordination with other functions.

  • Develop and maintain our People policies ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and other related matters.

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders incl. the People team in our European HQ, legal counsel, and other partners.

  • Be an open ear for the organization, providing guidance and support, incl. handling sensitive employee relations topics with care and professionalism.

  • Foster a positive culture of performance, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and growth across the organization.

  • Promote learning and development by supporting training initiatives and personal growth opportunities for team members.

What you’ll need

  • At least 3 years experience in a HR/People function preferably in a software and/or start-up environment.

  • Experience managing full lifecycle recruiting, including active and passive sourcing.

  • Experience in employee relations and knowledge of U.S. employment practices.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Hands-on mentality, with the ability to execute day-to-day tasks, seamlessly transitioning from strategic to operational execution.

  • Top-notch written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or other relevant fields.
