Role Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative Event and Marketing Specialist to plan, manage, and execute events that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales enablement. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong communication skills who thrives in dynamic environments, loves managing logistics, and enjoys collaborating across teams. You’ll be instrumental in connecting marketing strategy with field execution to deliver measurable results.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to design event strategies that align with business objectives, such as webinars, conferences, trade shows, and regional client events. Tailor strategies based on regional opportunities and audience needs.
  • Sales Alignment: Partner with sales teams to identify opportunities where field events can support pipeline acceleration, lead generation, and customer retention goals.
  • Project Management: Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, budgeting, staffing, and ensuring timely execution.
  • Campaigns: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute multi-channel plans, including email campaigns, landing pages, social media, and partner collaboration that generates interest and attendance of events.
  • On-Site Management: Lead on-the-ground event operations, including setup, registration, and real-time troubleshooting, to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
  • Lead Nurturing: Develop post-event follow-up campaigns in collaboration with sales and marketing teams, ensuring timely follow-up and lead progression through the sales funnel.
  • Data-Driven Analysis: Define success metrics for each event, analyze performance data (e.g., engagement, lead quality, ROI), and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, AV teams, caterers, and other third-party vendors to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Partner and Channel Support: Collaborate with channel marketing teams to co-host events, webinars, or campaigns with key partners and resellers.
  • Customer Stories and Content Integration: Partner with marketing team to incorporate customer success stories, case studies, and product demonstrations into event programming.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product and customer success teams to align event messaging with broader company goals and initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Event Calendar Management: Maintain and update a master calendar of events to ensure coordination across teams and prevent scheduling conflicts.
  • Audience Engagement Strategies: Develop interactive and engaging event components (e.g., live polls, Q&A sessions, gamification) to boost attendee involvement.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all field marketing initiatives align with the company’s brand identity and messaging guidelines.
  • Event Collateral Design and Support: Create and design visually compelling presentations, booth graphics, banners, and other marketing collateral to support events and associated campaigns. Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and effectively convey messaging tailored to specific audiences and objectives. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to bring designs to life and meet event deadlines.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor events and strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
  • Industry Networking: Represent the company at industry events, building relationships and gathering insights to enhance field marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in field marketing, event planning, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven ability to align field marketing efforts with sales objectives to achieve measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize event effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Pay range: $60,000 - $65,000* USD with eligibility for discretionary bonus
