Job Description

Compendial Group Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supervise others in performing client’s service requirements
  • Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
  • Foster motivation and morale
  • Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
  • Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
  • Coach and develop individuals and team to maximize performance

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or other related degree concentration or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major)
  • •Analytical laboratory skills.
  • •Experience with the following techniques: color, clarity, visual, pH, osmolality, density, concentration, solid state extraction, HIAC, Karl-Fisher.
  • •Collaborative personality and acute attention to detail.
  • •Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • •Good verbal communication, organization, presentation, and technical writing skills.

Additional Information

  • Position is Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of  Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
