Our software allows multi-stage schools, early childhood education centres, and vocational training institutions to streamline their operations through the centralised management of student information, staff coordination, and learning processes. 

 

We support more than 20,000 teachers and 250,000 students across 700 centres, and have over 15 years of experience serving schools around the world. As we aim to Our vision is to be the #1 ed-tech choice for vocational training institutions in Spain, we are looking for our first marketing hire who will be dedicated to driving impact within the industry, reaching even more schools and students in need of our solutions. 

What you will do

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of our marketing initiatives in Spain. 

 

This role is ideal for someone who is excited to attract quality leads, strengthen the brand’s position in Spain, improve conversions and build long-term credibility and trust. 

 

As the first marketing hire, you’ll shape what marketing looks like at Esemtia, and have the opportunity to grow in your role as our business grows. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to ask for help, loves to learn, and is fulfilled by getting work done. 

Reporting directly to Esemtia’s CEO, this role is remote within Spain. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Marketing  

  • Develop and own a marketing strategy and budget focused on attracting, engaging, and converting leads across all stages of the funnel 

  • Set measurable marketing objectives and key results aligned with the wider Esemtia business goals 

  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and executive teams to align on goals, messaging, and strategic initiatives 

    Full-funnel campaign execution  

  • Oversee multi-channel campaigns across email, digital advertising, SEO, content, and social media, driving alignment across channels to maximise reach and impact 

  • Partner with the Esemtia sales team and larger Edebé team to develop lead nurturing email sequences and lead-scoring mechanisms that support higher conversion rates 

    Brand Credibility & Trust  

  • Own and refine Esemtia’s brand positioning, value proposition, and messaging to strengthen brand awareness and establish our company as a thought leader within the vocational training sector 

  • Expand awareness of Esemtia brand related to other products focused on primary and early childhood education centers. 

  • Ensure Esemtia’s target personas can find the information they need by setting up and improving the SEO, organic, and referral traffic channels to Esemtia’s website, such as social media and press 

  • Manage the review profiles (for example, Google reviews, Capterra, or others) of Esemtia on key channels and ensure Esemtia participates in industry events 

  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints, building a recognisable and respected brand identity 

    Content Strategy & Thought Leadership  

  • Manage the Esemtia website, including content updates, SEO optimisation and UI/UX best practices, to improve online visibility and lead generation efforts 

  • Create short and long-form content, such as blog posts, flyers, customer testimonials and social media posts, for the target audience of School Directors and Heads of Studies that speak to key pain points and buyer needs 

  • Experiment with content formats, such as videos, podcasts, and images that capture the attention and interest of our target audience 

    Performance Tracking & Optimisation  

  • Establish KPIs and implement performance tracking for campaigns and overall marketing effectiveness, focusing on key metrics such as lead quality, engagement, and conversion rates 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to set up HubSpot and marketing automation tools to support tracking and reporting needs 

  • Conduct regular analysis and report on marketing performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation and future growth 

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging opportunities to adapt strategy accordingly 

What we are looking for

  • Fluent Spanish and English written and spoken language skills 

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, working for SaaS businesses and in the B2B sector is preferred. Experience working in the education industry is nice to have 

  • Proven experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies that drive growth across the full funnel 

  • Strong understanding of brand building, content marketing, and audience engagement strategies 

  • Comfortable with using and managing a CMS, Elementor specific experience a plus 

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and optimize marketing efforts based on data insights 

  • Proficient in marketing and analytics tools (such as, Google Analytics, Hotjar, HubSpot, Canva, Zapier, AI tools, etc.) 

  • Experience managing freelancers a plus 

  • Experience with running webinars and producing event booths a plus
