Senior Accountant
Evergreen Nephrology is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to ensure the financial health of the organization. You will play a crucial role in overseeing financial reporting, conducting financial analysis, and mentoring junior staff.
Skills
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets
- Leadership and team management skills
- Healthcare accounting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and reports
- Managing month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to senior management
- Leading and mentoring junior accounting staff
- Coordinating with tax and external auditors
- Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
