Senior DevOps Engineer [Remote]

EverOps is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team and assist innovative, cloud-first companies in overcoming their toughest DevOps and IT challenges. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of enterprise cloud infrastructure and the ability to manage projects autonomously.

Skills

6+ years of professional experience as a DevOps, CloudOps, or Site Reliability Engineer
Experience with Linux, automation tools, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, CI/CD, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools, and databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, Postgres
Proficiency in source control, build management, and implementing security best practices

Responsibilities

Develop and use automation tools effectively to operate, manage, and scale production and development environments
Participate in regular customer and internal EverOps scrums
Monitor environments while focusing on constant improvement
Implement new tools and technologies as customer requirements evolve
Design and execute new solutions while working to improve existing ones
Provide operational support and project deployments for customer environments
Champion GitOps practices and manage IAM roles and policies for secure access controls
Apply system administration expertise to maintain infrastructure performance and reliability

Education

None specified, but relevant certifications and industry experience preferred
