ABC11/WTVD, the ABC Owned Television station in Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville, NC has an opening for an Executive Administrative Assistant. This position will support the President and General Manager and other station executives.
Responsibilities :
Provides critical support to the President and General Manager and assists other executives by performing confidential assignments, coordinating daily schedules/calendars operations, and handling administrative duties
Assists in planning large, high-profile internal station events such as town halls, off-sites, team-building activities, and other station functions and meetings
Completes projects and a variety of special assignments by establishing objectives, managing time, gaining the cooperation of others, monitoring progress; problem-solving, and making adjustments to plans; act as an effective liaison between the Network and our distribution clients
Interacts directly with ABC11/WTVD senior executives and their support teams as well as representatives from the ABC Owned Stations, public officials, and the public in general. The ability to work well with people on all levels is critical
Basic Qualifications :
4 years of administrative experience supporting executive level
Works as a team player with professionalism, a positive attitude, and empathy in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and interested in contributing above and beyond basic job duties
Strong attention to detail in managing calendars, travel time, attendee confirmation for meetings, and other administrative functions
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication expertise for interfacing at all levels, internally and externally.
Strong proficiency with various types of computers, phones, and office equipment, as well as mastery of Microsoft Office programs and Mac, Zoom, SAP, Concur, and working in a Windows environment
Demonstrated ability to professionally handle confidential and sensitive issues; proficient administrative skills to support executive-level management
Preferred Qualifications :
Professional experience in the media industry
Required Education :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
