Job Description

Experian is looking for an outstanding HR leader who will have an impact on culture, leadership development and performance.  

Reporting to the Chief People Officer of Global Functions & Centers, this SVP will support Senior Executives in our Technology, Software Solutions and Innovation (TSSI) businesses. TSSI includes our global technology organization that supports all of Experian across shared services like infrastructure services, enterprise architecture, etc. and our Software Solutions organization that is responsible for building a market leading global portfolio of software products focused on Analytics, Decisioning, and Fraud use cases. 

Consisting of Global teams spanning ~30 countries, with c.600 people leaders and around 3,000 colleagues, you will lead HR initiatives across both teams: including two Operating Committee (OpCo) members and multiple Senior Executives. This role is crucial in shaping and implementing our People strategy that supports our colleagues around the world, enhancing colleague experience and driving organizational effectiveness and productivity to futureproof the current and future workforce. 

Work that matters - What you’ll be doing

HR Business Partnership - Provide strategic HR business partnership to TSSI Senior Executives and global Leadership teams. You will advise, coach, and facilitate discussion with leaders so that together you create a people plan aligned to the business strategy, the global people strategy, and is built and implemented for this unique and geographically diverse business team within Experian. 

Strategic Workforce Planning - Analyze current workforce capabilities and future needs to identify skill gaps. Develop a strategic plan to address these gaps through reskilling, upskilling, and redeployment initiatives to future proof the organization. 

Talent Strategy and Leadership Development - Coordinate efforts with the Global Talent Management COE to ensure that talent programs are implemented seamlessly with results driven outcomes. Provide input in the design and development of all talent initiatives (talent reviews, succession plans, etc.) with a focus on building a high-performance culture across the organization globally ensuring we have a pipeline of world class leaders and top talent. Leverage technology and our multiple learning resources like Career Hub, Leadership exchange and Experian University to facilitate continuous learning and development and measuring the impact of training programs. 

Organizational Design and Change Management - Lead all people-related change management activities, including organizational design and guide the organization through periods of change, growth, and global scaling. Ensure cultural and people aspects are well managed, aligning the organizational structure with its goals to improve efficiency. As a subject matter expert, provide recommendations to the leadership team on continuous improvement, new growth strategies, and achieving financial goals.

Communications - Oversee TSSI communications to ensure they are developed to maximize impact amongst the target audience, and appropriately represent the organization.  

People Leadership – You will lead a team of HRBP Leaders providing daily direction, coaching, performance management, and development; and provide leadership and influencing outcomes for the broader TSSI and supporting HR team. 

Global Leadership - You will provide partnership to a leadership team that manages global team members in the US, UK, Costa Rica, India, Malaysia, Brazil, and a few other locations. This role offers the exciting opportunity to travel and engage with diverse teams across several locations from time to time. Experience different cultures, gain new perspectives, and directly impact global operations while ensuring smooth transitions and effective change management.  

Qualifications

What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian

  • 15+ years of experience in strategic HR leadership roles, including experience supporting Senior Executives at a technology organization. 
  • A global point of view: experience and success in driving teams and projects in a global organization. 
  • Highly skilled in consulting, advising, and influencing C-suite executives and senior leaders on complex HR issues. 
  • Sound commercial awareness and business insight, applying this to their work and bringing this perspective to the HR function. 
  • Experience utilizing a range of data metrics and HR systems to guide discussions and improve performance.
  • Advanced people management skills and experience leading large, diverse teams.  
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and guiding organizations through growth, transformation and changes. 
  • Experience leading or partnering with HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) in a multi-country environment. 
  • In-depth knowledge of all human resource disciplines, including strategic compensation practices, benefits administration, employee and labor relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, strategic workforce planning, among others. 
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal are critical for success in this role with the ability to communicate across cultures and various levels of leadership.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, and an MBA or Master’s degree is a real plus.
