As a part of our Cybersecurity team, you'll be right at the heart of that goal, helping clients gain insight and context to their complex environments and assessing, improving, and building infrastructure, processes and policies to meet the client's cybersecurity needs. You'll get to use your technical and business skills to help us drive this mission and have an impact on cybersecurity at a global level.The opportunityWe are seeking an experienced Zscaler Engineer Manager/Architect to lead our team in designing, implementing, and managing our Zscaler cloud security architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Zscaler products and services, as well as experience in managing a team of security engineers.Your key responsibilities• Lead the design and architecture of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) solutions.• Manage and mentor a team of Zscaler engineers, providing guidance and direction for all Zscaler-related projects and initiatives.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Zscaler services with existing IT infrastructure.• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices for Zscaler deployment.• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.• Serve as the subject matter expert for Zscaler within the organization, providing technical leadership and strategic direction.• Oversee the monitoring and management of Zscaler services to ensure optimal performance and security.• Stay abreast of new Zscaler features and technologies, evaluating their potential impact and benefit to the organization.• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to Zscaler services.Skills and attributes for success• Experience with other cloud security platforms and services.• Knowledge of industry compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.• Networking experience on-premise and in the cloudTo qualify for the role you must have• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Zscaler products, including ZIA and ZPA.• Proven experience in managing and leading a technical team.• Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) concepts.• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator (ZCCA), Zscaler Certified Cloud Architect (ZCCA-IA) Zscaler for Users – Essentials (EDU-200) or Zscaler for Users – Advanced (EDU-202).• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in process definition, workflow design, and process mapping• A valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally and a willingness to travel; travel is estimated at 60-80%Ideally, you'll also have• Strong presentation and communication skills and ability to speak with director and VP levels• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM)• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)• Relevant network security certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)• Relevant Zscaler certifications, (e.g., ZCCP, ZCCA, EDU-200)What we look forWe're interested in intellectually curious people with a genuine passion for cybersecurity. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $143,500 to $263,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $172,200 to $299,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
