Threat Intelligent AnalystThe Threat Intelligence Analyst reconstitutes disparate fragments of intelligence from multiple sources into timely and actionable intelligence products. Intelligence products may be intended for technical, executive, and non-technical audiences. This position requires an ability to perform in-depth research and collaboration while being responsible for continuous monitoring of the threat landscape, providing insights to stakeholders at all levels of the enterprise. Intelligence is collected, analyzed, and distilled into an intelligence product for dissemination inside and outside the enterprise. Including but not limited to, cyber and fraud events, geopolitical events, industry, and other related events as appropriate. Works very closely with threat hunting, vulnerability management, and incident response to provide context and support high quality decisions and outcomes. Creates and presents verbal and written briefings to senior and executive leadership. Participates in the threat intelligence community. Utilizes a Threat Intelligence platform to collect, coordinate, and disseminate intelligence.Position ResponsibilitiesIntelligence Analysis• Manages external threat feeds for quality and content with a focus on evaluation, including recommendations for new sources• Disseminates intelligence for action to appropriate stakeholders• Creates and communicates intelligence products to senior management, Cyber peers, technical and non-technical audiences• Performs emerging threat and threat landscape research.• Performs extremely complex monitoring and analysis of disparate threat intelligence sources• Distills extremely complex concepts and data into digestible intelligence products, in context for the enterprise• Creates new and further push existing reporting products and methodologies aiding in the defense of the organization• Works closely with partners in Cyber, Fraud, and Technology to respond to incidents and events• Expert Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) researchDomain Analysis• Performs technical analysis of cyber vulnerabilities, how they might apply to the bank, and how threat actors are perceiving them in the wild.• Performs expert analysis of geopolitical considerations, perceptions, and likely next actions based on specialty.• Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in applicable geopolitical and technical areas• Procures and provides expert and Threat Intelligence Community based enrichments to existing intelligence products• Active participant in the financial threat intelligence communityCommunications and Presentations• Works closely with partners in Cyber, Fraud, and Technology to solve problems• Drafts and present verbal and written intelligence product presentations to stakeholders, including senior and executive managementPlanning and Organizing• Identifies & evaluates projects, products, and solutions to enhance threat intelligence and other capabilities• Provides expert guidance on complex projects to incorporate threat intelligence capabilities and considerations• Participates in industry working and information sharing groupsAdministration• Keeps management informed of status of threats, the threat landscape, and current incidents and events through appropriate reporting• Actively participates on committees representing Cybersecurity• Keeps abreast of leading-edge technologies in the threat intelligence space• Maintains and fosters relationships with industry and intelligence partnersQualifications• 8 years intelligence community or private threat intelligence.• 4 years demonstrated experience creating intelligence products for consumption.• 4 Yr/Bachelor Degree or 4 years of relevant experience OR Equivalent through a combination of education and/or technology experience OR 12 years of progressive, relevant experience.• 3 years geopolitical event analysis.• 1 year drafting intelligence products to senior leadership.• 1 year expert knowledge of adversarial nation/actor tactics, techniques, procedures.Licenses• Preferred, CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)Work Best Category:Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 daysHours:8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - FridaySalary:To Be Determined Based on Individual ExperienceAbout ComericaWe know our employees are critical to our overall success and we are dedicated to investing in their future.
