Overview/Purpose:
Condé Nast is looking for a Facilities Technician who can assist our Facilities Department. This individual should be a self-starter, great communicator and have a good understating of basic hand tools, power tools and facilities operations.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Supports the Facilities Department in all facets of the operation
  • Completes facilities related work tasks as required
  • Installs, repairs, and removes facility equipment, machinery, workstations, office furniture, etc.
  • Performs light construction work as assigned
  • Responds to, acts on and follows-up on work tickets as assigned
  • Sets-up and breaks down function rooms as needed
  • Responds to remote office needs as assigned
  • Conducts workspace moves
  • Responds to emergency alerts as dispatched
  • Works in close coordination with the Conde Nast Operations Center, Security and Planning & Project Management
  • Performs project related functions as assigned and in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment
  • Other duties as assigned by The Director of Facilities
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Plans work and delivers on-schedule
  • Focused & Goal-Oriented: Able to prioritize multiple, sometimes competing priorities; Consistently takes initiative
  • Good general tech knowledge: Familiar with contemporary apps and has the ability to learns new ones
  • Able to pick-up, push and pull heavy objects and equipment
  • Has a great working knowledge of hand and power tools and possesses the ability and desire to learn new skills
  • Salary Range: $60,000
