We also offer the unique benefit of allowing employees to temporarily work remotely up to 20 days per year based on business levels.The RoleThe successful Senior Director F&A Business Process will be critical to developing the vision and objectives of the F&A end-to-end processes. She/he must understand the process broadly enough that they can truly focus on what is best for the cross functional process and its customers, rather than for the individual functions or operations that fall within a given process. The role is not simply to negotiate but to possess organizational clout to drive cross functional decisions that create value. A demonstrated track record for driving continuous improvement is critical as you will define performance objectives, monitor and enable team members’ performance, help resolve disputes, evaluate progress with an objective view and validate true progress in performance. Across Fanatics we are at different stages of developing standard operating policies and procedures. You will help us continue this important work, allowing business units some level of necessary flexibility as all our business units have unique growth aspects but not allow for completely disparate processes that do not drive scale or unnecessarily complicate policies. In short, you will take accountability and ownership of the successful performance of the entire finance and accounting process.What You'll Do• Improve the level of documentation of all F&A related processes, in accordance with our agreed upon level of detail, ensuring that any out of date policies and legacy procedures are communicated once they are no longer relevant• Work closely with the Business Process PMO to keep current the UAT testing reviewed, the test scripts and any follow up stemming from Oracle quarterly upgrades• Coordinate with the Senior Director Business Process Supply Chain to ensure that all cross functional processes/process maps impacting both finance and accounting as well as supply chain processes are well integrated and coordinated• Coordinate with the Director of Organizational Change Management all training materials and attendees needed to ensure successful roll out of process changes• Manage the Fanatics-wide business case for automation through technology, primary Oracle-related projects, partnering with FP&A teams and following through on the decommissioning of legacy software as implementation plans proceeds.• Define data-driven frameworks and processes to identify, measure, and manage program success focusing on business value.• Influence and drive change among a matrixed global team, gathering SMEs needed to help resolve change management and trainingWhat We're Looking For• 10-12 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial planning and analysis, beyond fundamentals, demonstrating the ability to understand detailed report logic and problem solve in real time• Experience overseeing larger scale initiatives that involved technology upgrades and skill set changes to staffing, dealing with inevitable setbacks in testing and training• Experience developing strategic multi-year plans; able to translate strategic vision and objectives into executable outcomes that can be tracked and measured.• Capable of building and delivering compelling presentations and influencing all levels of an organization.• Advanced Powerpoint and excellent communication skills are a must.• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Comfortable building and driving new frameworks and processes with cross-functional teams.• Ownership mentality, intellectual curiosity, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Thrives when challenging the status quo and setting new strategic / operational direction.• Experience working with tools such as Jira, SmartSheet, Tableau, Power BI or others that demonstrate a foundation of communication and the ability to measure and assess objectively• Strong passion to design and implement solutions using next-generation technology such as data analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.Skills/ Certifications Considered a Plus• Auditing experience or other SOX control related experience• Oracle Fusion implementation experience• Experience outsourcing back office processes to a third party provider• Project Management Professional (PMP)
