Applicants beyond fifty (50) miles may still be considered.Job SummaryResponsible for the organization and oversight of Business Unit Data Management solutions, such as data governance and data quality standards, data stewardship roles and responsibilities.What You'll Do• Supervises assigned personnel.• Sits as lead appointee on Business Unit/Functional IT Release Boards/Steering Committees to ensure data governance policies and procedures are applied within the System Development Life Cycle.• Oversees data projects and initiatives that enhance overall information management within the Business Unit organization.• Manages Business Unit project teams through the full life cycle-scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live.• Manages the development of new and enhancement of existing controls, including the establishment of automated data validation to improve existing processes through potential efficiencies.• Oversees periodic reviews of Business Unit Data Management Roadmap to ensure data and data initiatives are aimed at supporting Business Unit vision.• Oversees and participates in cross functional initiatives to ensure data initiatives are implemented on plan.• Oversees the evaluation, preparation of data ad hoc inquires from executives and other business units.• Interacts at all levels with business units, IT and other organizations.• Stays current on technology and professional development.• Performs other duties as assigned.Experience Requirements• At least two years of supervisory experience.• Six years of relevant consulting or industry experience in Data Management.Education Requirements• High school diploma or equivalent required.• Bachelor’s degree preferred.• Relevant Masters or higher level graduate degree preferred, Certified Insurance Data Manager (CIDM) designation, or other relevant major designation.• Six Sigma Green Belt required.Benefits• Farmers offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications and location.• CA Only: $116,960 - $186,560• CO Only: $109,920 - $160,820• HI Only: $109,920 - $172,150• IL/MN/VT Only: $109,920 - $172,150• o MD Only: $109,920 - $172,150• NY/DC/Jersey City Only: $109,920 - $186,560• Albany County: $116,960 - $160,820• WA Only: $109,920 - $195,625• Bonus Opportunity (based on Company and Individual Performance)• 401(k)• Medical• Dental• Vision• Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts• Life Insurance• Paid Time Off• Paid Parental Leave• Tuition Assistance• For more information, review “What we offer” on https://www.farmers.com/careers/corporate/#offerJob Location(s): R_US - United StatesAnticipated application deadline: At Farmers, the recruitment process is designed to ensure that we find the best talent to join our team.
