Job Overview
The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the service, installation, conversion, upgrade and preventative maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment. This is an entry-level position and does not work standard, set hours as work activities may occur throughout a 24-hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays. This position reports to the Regional Service Manager or Field Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities:

Performs preventative maintenance and general maintenance on AGS gaming equipment

Completes all reports and paperwork in a timely manner

Performs technical procedures on both slot machine and table game equipment

Troubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessary

Keeps parts inventory current

Participates in a weekly on-call rotation with other technicians in territory

Provides “best in the business” customer service

Adheres to all safety guidelines during work hours, as set forth by AGS
Skills/Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required
-
Must be at least 21 years’ old
-
Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance is mandatory

Entry level, gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus
-
Must have 2 years’ experience in electronics and/or computer networking

Requirement to obtain licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators

Basic computer skills required; May need to use all tools from Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, Excel, Outlook)

Understands basic AC/DC electronics

Basic understanding of computer networking

Sound problem-solving skills, organizational skills and attention to detail

Positive attitude, teamwork mentality

A flexible schedule may be required, with the ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
