Financial Analyst

Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country's most challenging technical problems.


Job Number: 1367

Riverside Research's Intelligence and Defense Solutions Directorate is seeking a Financial Analyst for an opportunity at Wright-Patterson AFB. The Financial Analyst will provide up-to-date financial data on contracts and task orders as directed by the customer. They will assist with the development of standardized, intuitive, and easy to interpret set of reports prepared with data available from existing government financial databases/applications. They will respond to time sensitive government queries to support their contractual decision making processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop standardized, intuitive, and easy to interpret reports prepared from government financial databases/applications
  • Analyze provided financial data and develop standardized, easy to interpret financial reports for contracts as directed by the customer
  • Respond to time sensitive queries to support government decision making

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance
  • Bachelors degree in finance or finance related field
  • Experience generating or reviewing contractual documentation
  • Knowledge or practical experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD) or intelligence community (IC)
  • Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team player
  • Three to five years of experience in the analysis of contractual obligations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using Excel and Pivot tables for tracking financial data
  • Experience conducting financial analysis of Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) contracts
  • Professional certifications in financial or project management
