Mission

Finch was started by 2 friends (Nino & Steph 🙇🏾‍♂️🙇🏻‍♀️) who struggled with anxiety and depression and found self-care challenging to stick with. We decided to build Finch hoping to make self-care fun and accessible after seeing many others share similar struggles. Finch was launched in 2021, and our team is grateful to have helped over 10 million people on their mental health journeys.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled animator who can bring characters to life through dynamic and engaging animations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of motion, timing, and the principles of animation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality character animations.

• Develop animations with a strong sense of weight, physics, and timing

• Collaborate with other creatives to produce engaging and innovative content

• Contribute to the creative process from conceptualization to final delivery

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, especially in character animation

• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and weight

• Ability to create dynamic animations with realistic physics

• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality 2D or 3D animation work

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

• Located in Asia or Australia (GMT+7 to GMT+11 time zones)

Other Preferred Skills (Big Plus)

• Knowledge of 3D character creation and animation

• Proficiency in Cinema 4D, Maya, or Blender

• Experience with Rive
