What does a successful Vice President, Product Sales Leader do?

As a Vice President, Product Sales Leader at Fiserv, you will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of our product sales and existing client initiatives. You will work collaboratively with various departments to drive sales growth, expand market share and drive lead generation. Your role will involve identifying opportunities, developing competitive sales strategies, and ensuring that our solutions align with our clients' needs. By fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, you will help shape the future of financial services technology.
 

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
  • Oversee financial community partnerships focusing on growing merchant portfolios.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams to drive business growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand our product reach.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales forecasts and manage budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and outcomes.

What you will need to have:

  • 15+ years of experience in sales leadership within the financial technology industry.
  • 12+ years of experience developing and executing strategic sales plans.
  • 10+ years of experience managing and mentoring sales teams.
  • Experience driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
  • Experience in identifying market opportunities and formulating competitive strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree

What would be great to have:

  • 15+ years of experience in sales leadership within a FinTech company.
  • 10+ years of experience collaborating with product development teams.
  • 12+ years of experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Recognized sales certifications.

Important info about this role:

Travel Required: Ability to travel approximately 50%

Salary Range

$140,900.00 - $251,700.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
