Location and Logistics:  Mesa HQ (2845 N Omaha, Mesa, AZ 85215)/Hybrid
Start and End Date: May 19th through August 8th (12 weeks)
Hours per week: Less than 30 hours a week
Pay Rate: $18 an hour
 
Description and Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Data Analytics Intern and play a crucial role in creating an end-user dashboard for our Finance/Accounting team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be part of a project team from start to finish, delivering a tool that aids Finance/Accounting in their function. 
 
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and data analytics by contributing to the development of a functional dashboard. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, design and implement solutions, and present your work to IT and Accounting teams.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders in the Accounting department to gather detailed requirements. Understand the specific needs for tracking unapplied payments, credit memos (CMs), unpaid invoices, and customer holds.
  • Design and Implementation: Design the dashboard layout and user interface using Microsoft Fabric. Integrate data sources and ensure data accuracy. Develop visualizations and reports for unapplied payments and CMs, unpaid invoices, and customer holds.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the dashboard meets all requirements. Validate data accuracy and functionality with Accounting stakeholders.
  • Presentation: Prepare a presentation to showcase the dashboard. Present the finished product to IT and Accounting teams at the end of the internship.
 
Desired Outcome: Delivery of a fully functional dashboard in Microsoft Fabric, with documentation of the dashboard design and data sources.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Completed coursework in data visualization, statistics, and database management.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar data integration platforms.
