The Opportunity 

At Flock Safety, the Technology Experience team is a trusted partner, dedicated to empowering our colleagues with the technology and support they need to succeed. The IT Support Analyst will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our colleagues, primarily within our Atlanta offices. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate hardware inventory, managing the new hire laptop deployment process, providing first-level technical support, and ensuring the security and compliance of our endpoint devices. 

The Skillset 

  • 1-3 years of experience in an IT support role.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and basic networking concepts.

  • Experience with MDM solutions (e.g., Kandji, Jamf) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with endpoint security software and patch management processes.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.  

  • Customer-focused with a professional and empathetic demeanor.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be able to lift and move computer equipment as needed.

  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, ServiceNow).

90 Days at Flock

We are a results-oriented culture and believe job descriptions are a thing of the past. We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days, lead to good weeks, which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired in this role at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days

  • Become familiar with the IT environment and team.

  • Understand the hardware inventory management process and tools.

  • Begin contributing to Tier 1 support and in-office assistance.

The First 60 Days 

  • Independently manage the new hire laptop provisioning process.

  • Actively contribute to maintaining hardware inventory accuracy.

  • Increase proficiency in resolving Tier 1 support tickets.

90 Days & Beyond 

  • Ensure consistent accuracy of hardware inventory and MDM compliance.

  • Independently handle a wider range of Tier 1 support issues and in-office requests.

  • Contribute to improving IT processes and documentation.

The Interview Process 

We want our interview process to be a true reflection of our culture: transparent and collaborative. Throughout the interview process, your recruiter will guide you through the next steps and ensure you feel prepared every step of the way. 

  1. Our First Chat: During this first conversation, you’ll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background, what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are. 

  2. The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field. 

  3. The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners. 

Salary & Equity

In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between  $80,000 and $105,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options.

⚕️Fully-paid health benefits plan for employees: including Medical, Dental, and Vision and an HSA match. 

👪Family Leave: All employees receive 12 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. Birthing parents are eligible for an additional 6-8 weeks of physical recovery time.

🍼Fertility & Family Benefits: We have partnered with Maven, a complete digital health benefit for starting and raising a family. In 2025, Flock will provide a $ 50,000-lifetime maximum benefit related to eligible adoption, surrogacy, or fertility expenses.

💸Carta Tax Advisor: Employees receive 1:1 sessions with Equity Tax Advisors who can address individual grants, model tax scenarios, and answer general questions.

💻WFH Stipend: $150 per month to cover the costs of working from home.

At Flock Safety, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators.
