Fluence Digital’s IQ platform uses artificial intelligence, advanced price forecasting, portfolio optimization and market bidding to ensure energy storage and flexible generation assets are optimally participating in wholesale electricity markets.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Project Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Germany. This position will be in full time with an unlimited contract and a remote working model with several visits in our hubs in Berlin or Erlangen.The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards are maintained across our operations.Key responsibilities include developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing guidance and training to team members. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of implementing effective quality control measures in a manufacturing or production environment. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential for this role, as the Quality project specialist will collaborate closely with various departments to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to delivering superior quality products and services. If you have a passion for quality excellence and are ready to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Your tasks and responsibilities:- Ensuring Quality planning activities are properly performed on-time according development project timelines- Participate / lead onsite supplier and subcontractor audits – you will lead the audits for new or potential suppliers and subcontractor- Assist in building supplier and subcontractor quality programs and policies- Support on definition and implementation of supplier / subcontractor improvement programs for potential new suppliers / subcontractor- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of products and materials at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications- Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations (NCR) from quality requirements, investigating root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation to support continuous improvement efforts- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, provide technical support, and participate in problem-solving activities to drive resolution and improvementYour skills:- A degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as engineering, quality management or a related discipline- Previous experience in quality control or assurance roles within manufacturing, engineering or a related industry (minimum 5-10 years)- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and quality control methodologies is highly desirable- Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques- Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001 is advantageous- Fluent in English and German language, other European languages are a plus- Proficient in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint- Possess a valid residence in Europe and a valid driving license- Good verbal and written communication skills and work independently and carefully- Availability to travel 50% of the time in Germany and adjacent countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Denmark)Our benefits:• Attractive pay in line with the metal collective agreement• 30 days annual vacation• Flexible working time• Company pension plan• Capital forming payments for Tarif-Employees• Kindergarten allowance taxfree (100€/kid/month)• Culture based on values within diverse teams, open and transparent communication with a focus on DE&I• Personal development (LinkedIn Training, inhouse training, workshops)• Sabbatical Option• Home office allowance• Corporate Benefits
