Foodsmart seamlessly integrates dietary assessments and nutrition counseling with online food ordering and cost-effective meal planning for the entire family, optimizing ingredients both at home and on the go. We partner with national and regional retailers across the U.S., many of whom accept SNAP/EBT, making healthier food more accessible. Additionally, we assist members with SNAP enrollment and management, providing tangible access to nutritious food.In 2024, Foodsmart secured a $200 million investment from TPG’s Rise Fund, which supports entrepreneurs dedicated to achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. This investment will help us expand our reach, particularly to low-income workers who are disproportionately affected by diet-related diseases.

About the role:

As Foodsmart’s Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission to revolutionize personalized health and nutrition through innovative technology. Your primary focus will be on developing and integrating a unified data platform that connects our various systems, enabling a 360-degree view of our members. This platform will drive personalized marketing, outreach, and engagement.


Your work will directly contribute to the creation of tailored marketing strategies, enhance member experiences, and support key initiatives such as provider referrals, health systems engagement, and community benefits outreach. You will also play a crucial role in managing and mentoring team members, driving projects that range from enabling personalized email and SMS outreach to implementing AI solutions in our contact center..



You will:
  • Lead the development and integration of a unified data platform to provide a 360-degree view of members, enhancing personalized marketing and outreach strategies.
  • Connect various platforms to drive outreach and engagement, focusing on seamless data exchange and optimization.
  • Manage the integration of third-party vendors and tools, such as AWS, Zendesk, Customer.io and AWS Connect, to support our outreach and support efforts.
  • Partner closely with our Marketing Team to enable the development of personalized marketing strategies using the360-degree view of member data, to support both acquisition of new members and drive ongoing engagement.
  • Manage Product Managers leading the efforts to enable referrals from health system and provider partners, and continuously improve our contact center efforts. 


You are:
  • Experienced in building and integrating platforms that connect data across systems, particularly in CRM/CDP and personalized marketing contexts.
  • Proficient in managing and optimizing multi-channel marketing platforms, including email, SMS, and HIPAA-secure communication methods.
  • Knowledgeable in AWS, with a strong understanding of data integration, warehousing, and leveraging these capabilities to drive member acquisition and engagement initiatives.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing complex projects, turning ambiguous inputs into clear action plans.
  • A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of personalization in marketing, able to drive impactful strategies that resonate with diverse member segments.
  • A strong communicator, skilled at working with both internal teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, always seeking ways to optimize and innovate in your product management approach.



You have:
  • 5+ years of experience in a product management role, with a proven track record of successfully launching and optimizing CRM/CDP and marketing platforms.
  • Expertise in developing and leveraging data for personalized marketing to drive acquisition and engagement.
  • Experience in multi-channel marketing, particularly with platforms like  Twilio Segment and Customer.io.
  • Strong background in AWS, particularly in the context of data integration and warehousing.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and mentoring key team members to drive project success.
  • Knowledge of both B2B2C and B2C marketing strategies, with a particular emphasis on healthcare, food delivery, or similar industries.


$160,000 - $190,000 a year
Role: Senior Technical Product Manager
Level: IC4-IC5
Location: Remote
Base Salary Range: $160,000/yr to $190,000/yr + equity + benefits

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in San Francisco, California. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
