Job Description

Pay Range $34.86 to $43.57 per hour.

This is a temporary position through August 2025. 

The Demand Planner will support all processes relating generation, assessment of the Demand Forecast that drives our supply chain process and collaboration with cross functional partners to deliver the best forecast accuracy and to grow our business.

As a key team member within the Fresh Chicken Retail or FCC/Prepared team, the Demand Planner will need to operate and embrace the team’s principles of:

  • Improve the operational efficiency to grow our business
  • Create the most accurate forecast, a consensus plan agreed upon single source of truth to which all are accountable enabled through cross functional team input, technology and business insights
  • Enable execution of monthly demand planning process for the deliverables
  • Support monthly Sales and Operations Planning(S&OP) process to effectively meet the customer expectations and satisfactions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support and provide feedback for development of the statistical demand forecast process based on defined framework. Apply promotional and lifecycle planning, such as, phase-in/phase-out and new launches, to create the operations forecast with a rolling 52-week time horizon
  • Evaluate the results of the statistical forecast at customer and material level against orders and delivery. Understand the variances and make the necessary adjustment to reflect the most appropriate demand forecast results
  • Proactive forecast quality assessment using trend analysis, forecast vs actual results and data input of volume by utilizing customer promotional calendars, history and market intelligence
  • Assist with the S&OP execution process that drives the consensus forecast with key stakeholders.
  • Support all related integrated planning requirements and or other assigned projects
  • Strong attention to detail and business acumen.
  • Strong self-motivation to improve capabilities of self and others through various means of learning methods
  • Able to navigate through complex business processes with understanding of upstream and downstream implications
  • Team player. Proven cross functional team collaboration at all levels

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Business Administration.
  • 3 plus years' experience in area of Supply Chain Management or Operations. Strong forecast, supply planning experience preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Experience SAP APO/IBP or other key MRP systems preferred
  • MS Office
