Hi, I’m Monica and I’m the Company Operations Lead here at Found. Thanks for your interest in Found! Our team is responsible for HR, recruiting, onboarding, compensation, benefits, executive operations, events, IT, facilities, and more! You’ll be working closely with me, our Talent/People Ops Coordinator, and Chief of Staff to build and support our incredible team. This role will be primarily focused on partnering with our CTO on technical hiring, but you may be asked to work with our CEO and leads across Product, Design, and Data depending on hiring priorities. I personally review every application, so if you have any questions please include them in your application.

Some recent team accomplishments include: 

  • Hired and onboarded 20 new team members in 2023, bringing our total team up to 85.

  • Planned “by far the best offsite I have ever attended” according to employee feedback.

  • Launched internal level descriptions for employees and managers.

  • Added Spring Health (therapy/coaching) as a covered employee benefit.

Day to day, you will:

  • Partner with hiring managers to define ideal candidates profiles and craft purposeful hiring plans based on a deep understanding of the technical requirements of the role and how it fits into the organization.

  • Build and maintain a robust and diverse candidate pipeline through sourcing, outreach, referrals, job boards, and creative strategies to build Found’s employer brand. 

  • Design high-signal recruiting processes and work with hiring managers and Company Ops team to improve the interviewer and candidate experience. 

  • Conduct initial candidate screens to gauge qualifications, and act as primary point of contact for candidates through the hiring process.

  • Foster strong relationships with candidates from initial outreach to closing (and beyond).

  • Facilitate candidate debriefs critically, based on a deep understanding of the hiring team needs and bar for each role/level.

  • Track funnel and candidate experience metrics and use data to inform recruiting strategies.

  • Coach hiring managers, interviewers, and peers on talent acquisition best practices, including pitching startup roles and avoiding unconscious bias.

  • Advise on talent and compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent, including defining success at all levels of the organization.

  • Collaborate with Finance and executive team on hiring plans that ensure team priorities and constraints are balanced.

To thrive in this role, you have:

  • 6 years in talent acquisition, including at least 3 years as a full-cycle technical recruiter.

  • Partnered directly with engineering leaders at high-growth startups to bring in top-quality talent.

  • Worked with a team, building strong and high-trust relationships with Hiring Managers, Executives, Recruiting Coordinators, People Ops, and Finance.

  • A breadth of experience and willingness to work across the stack, from sourcing to closing.

  • Designed interview processes to drive high-quality outcomes, including facilitating calibrations and holding a high bar in partnership with Hiring Managers.

  • Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills, confidently representing the Found talent brand internally and externally.

  • Fluency with different recruiting tools, including Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiting, such that you can teach hiring managers how to use them effectively.

  • Used recruitment metrics to make data-backed decisions and recommendations on talent programs.

Compensation at Found

The anticipated wage range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 per year, plus equity. The range listed represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
