Front’s Brand Studio Team is hiring an experienced brand designer to help us design a best-in-class interactive web experience and bring moments of “wow” to life across digital channels. This role will help redesign Front.com from the ground up, create interactive experiences that enable breakthrough campaign moments, and optimize our web experience so that it’s a beautiful expression of our brand and a high-performance destination. We’re looking for someone who is a detailed systems thinker at heart but who knows when to break outside the box to bring bold digital ideas to life in new ways. This person will work in tight collaboration with developers, animators, and other designers on the team. This role reports directly into our Head of Brand.
We’re looking for someone who is a web systems thinker at heart: who knows how to build, implement, and elevate a web style guide and who designs with best practices of responsive design.
What will you be doing?
Set a new standard of craft and execute impeccable design work across a range of digital touchpoints
Work directly with members of the Brand Studio Team and other core marketing stakeholders to evolve and elevate Front.com
Build digital experiences that enable break-through campaign moments
Lead the design process–from wireframing to QA to launch–for interactive experiences that drive huge business impact
Own a new web style guide and component library that applies best practices in responsive design, ensures consistency across touchpoints, and enables the entire team to efficiently create for web
Partner closely with the dev team to launch and maintain a best-in-class web experience
Collaborate with growth and marketing operations to explore elegant ways to optimize our digital channels to increase their impact
Bring the Front brand to life in ways that push our visual style and storytelling forward
What skills & experience do you need?
5+ years of in-house or agency design experience with a strong portfolio of digital work
Proficiency in Figma
Strong skills in information hierarchy and visual storytelling
Deep understanding of current UI/UX trends, craft, and patterns
Well versed in web testing and optimization throughout the marketing funnel
Excellent communication and feedback skills
An understanding of what great looks like…and how to bring it to life
A deep desire to balance beauty and impact :)
This role is open to Remote US. For candidates based In San Francisco or Chicago, option to be Hybrid on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Zone 1 (SF Hybrid only): $127,200 - $170,000
Zone 2: $114,500 - $150,000
Zone 3: $108,100 - $140,000
Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, training, and market conditions. At Front, we take a market based approach to pay. In addition to cash compensation (which includes base salary and, where applicable, may include commissions or overtime pay), Fronteers are eligible to receive equity in the company.
