Remote Support Engineer

Overview

FTI Services provides cost-effective computer support, network design and implementation, and software solutions to businesses of all sizes. If you are the type of person that thrives in dynamic and challenging environments where your contributions make a difference, we are looking for you! This person will support customers based out of Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
  • Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
  • Recommend hardware and software improvements
  • Track customer issues and resolutions
  • Responsible for use of company or own vehicle for transportation of company equipment to and from various customer locations.

Education/Qualifications

  • 1 - 5 years' experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Excellent written communication skills are essential to success.
  • Familiarity with the following hardware/software platforms:
  • Windows Server Platform
  • Microsoft Active Directory Platform
  • Microsoft Active Directory Platform
  • Microsoft SharePoint Server
  • VMware / Hyper-V Virtualization Platform
  • Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor

For this role, the compensation range for candidates in California is ($27/hr - $42/hr).  Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. FTI has a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
