Key Account ManagerJOB SUMMARYThe Key account Manager is tasked with overseeing and finalizing all cost estimation and financial evaluation activities for the Gestamp Chattanooga Plants. This role also involves crafting and executing a thorough marketing strategy, both internally and externally, aimed at boosting revenue and profitability. Additionally, the analyst collaborates closely with core team members to ensure all project milestones are achieved, delivering accurate and timely quotes that meet the company's financial targets.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Coordinate the costing of quotations with Gestamp Plants in accordance with established guidelines and manage the status of all new opportunities and engineering changes.• Create and coordinate financial models to evaluate profitability of quotations for new business to ensure returns meet corporate targets.• Understand current manufacturing operations and standard costing rates used in quotations including knowledge of capabilities and capacity at each location.• Support Gestamp Plants to develop cost assumptions for new products and business.• Proven experience creating customer quotations, cost breakdowns, financial models, and other required forms.• Maintain customer price data in system ensuring billing accuracy• Support business planning needs with understanding of long-term customer and pricing agreements• Manages deliverables to Corporate Sales.• Work with sales team to identify and outline quote parameters for new customer RFQ's.• Participate in financial and quote review meetings with Gestamp Plants and Gestamp Leadership.• Act as a strong interface and build relationships with customers, business units and plants.• Attend customer and internal meetings as required.• Assist in the development of department standards and procedures.• Assist in the coordination of supporting quote documents, i.e. Bills of Material, Statement of Requirements, etc.• Actively participate in the Business Planning process.• Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE• Bachelor's Degree with major in accounting, finance, engineering or relevant field.• Minimum 5 years of experience related to costing, financial modeling and analysis.• Experience with metal stamping preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES• Ability to represent Gestamp in a positive and productive manner under all conditions involving direct customer interface.• Experienced in standard costing procedures and requirements.• Knowledge of financial principles, and ability to interpret financial models.• Strong MS Office skills; Word, Excel and Access• Ability to read blueprints.• Understanding of IATF principals and requirements, and commitment to meet all standards.• Collaboration: Builds constructive working relationships with clients/customers, other departments, organizations and others to meet mutual goals and objectives.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and seek to hire the best candidate regardless of age, beliefs, disability, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation.About usWe are a multi-technology company present in over 20 countries and our team of over 40,000 is made up of 90 different nationalities.
