Senior Backend Engineer, Plan: Knowledge Engineering (Ruby)
GitLab, a leading DevSecOps platform, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to work on transforming GitLab Wiki and maintaining GitLab Pages. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Ruby on Rails, proficiency in SQL and databases, and be comfortable with web application development.
Skills
- Proficient in Ruby on Rails
- Strong SQL and database proficiency
- Experience with web applications and APIs
- Ability to work asynchronously and communicate effectively in a remote setting

Responsibilities
- Drive development of specific features for GitLab Wiki and GitLab Pages
- Support team members and advocate for quality through code reviews and onboarding
- Collaborate across teams to refine feature specifications and drive them to completion
- Advocate for product quality, security, performance, and process improvements
