Overview: Canon USA is currently seeking a Global Account Executive - Printers/Copiers (Executive, Global Account). The Global Account Executive will lead the acquisition, growth and development of Fortune 500/1000 enterprise accounts and position Canon B2B products, services and technologies to meet customer needs. Develop deep relationship and establish Canon as a valued global partner by creating value beyond the other available alternatives. The role will entail working with Key Account Sales Executives of Canon channels in the Americas to develop new and existing global accounts. This position is full time and is considered virtual. The office will be open 5 days a week; however you will not be required to report to the office unless there is a specific business need. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Ideal candidate will work from a home based office located in close proximity to a major metropolitan city/airport hub and requires frequent overnight travel to events, meetings, workshops, and/or productions. The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. * Responsibilities: - Lead the acquisition, growth and development of Fortune 500/1000 enterprise accounts with multiple country and regional locations working closely with Canon sales channels: - Reviews pipelines of global accounts and works to increase them working with Canon channels - Ensures all B2B opportunities have been explored in existing customers - Identifies new business opportunities in global clients with HQ’s in Canon channels and develops account plans - Introduces structured approach to defining target account list and prioritizing activity for bids and business development - Provide senior level and global business expertise for Canon channels - Ensures customer sees Canon as a global partner beyond the existing local relationship - Supports in large RFPs representing Canon Global Services - Provides Canon channels with global business best practice - Builds strong relationship with Channels at all levels to achieve trusting collaborative working relations - Maintain high-level relationships with customers and develop opportunities within the accounts - Define Canon’s value proposition. Identify opportunities for SAAS, outsourcing, MPS within new and existing client base - Spearhead the development and implementation of global account strategy that includes all Canon offerings - Promote global team cohesion among multiple line of businesses to support key account activities - Act as a lead for key client meetings, presentations and RFP processes - Participate in key client meetings to qualify, scope and support the sale of major opportunities - Assure Canon meets all program commitments to the customer - Maintain a target tracking database to monitor progress of all new business opportunities Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience required, plus 3-5 years of related experience - Industry related experience in printers, copiers, solutions and/or imaging required - CDIA Certification required - Experience working with C-Suite level executives at Fortune 500/1000 companies and in building necessary business relationships - Deep industry knowledge in the context of global client-business process and competitive landscape - Ability to travel approximately up to 40% nationwide - Individual must possess a clean valid state driver's license in order to obtain the position - This position requires driving, therefore a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies The company will not pursue or support visa sponsorship for this position. * In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated base salary for this role if filled in Jersey City, New York City, Ithaca or Westchester County: $81,890 - $122,620.
